In December U.S. District Court Judge Donald Molloy announced plans to take senior status in the summer of 2011. In May President Obama nominated Kalispell attorney, Dana Christensen, to serve as Montana's U.S. District Judge. Today The U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed Dana Christensen, will be the new U.S. District Judge for the District of Montana. Christensen is a fourth generation Montanan and was raised in Missoula, Montana. He graduated from Stanford University in 1973 and received his law degree from the University of Montana School of Law in 1976.
