Commissioner Concerned About More Than Megaloads [AUDIO]
Even though Imperial Oil/Exxon Mobil has already begun to send smaller loads up the interstate highway system from Washington State through Montana to Canada, Missoula County Commissioner Jean Curtiss says she’s still concerned about dangers to the 2-lane highways originally targeted for the loads. I spoke with Commissioner Curtiss on Monday afternoon. That interview is attached.
Ms. Curtiss says other companies may use the 2-lane highways to haul their loads.

She also explains why the Commissioners filed suit against the State Transportation Department to stop the megaloads from using State Highways 200 and 12.
