Clothesline Project Aims To Raise Awareness Of Sexual Violence [AUDIO]

The University of Montana’s Student Assault Resource Center (or SARC) is raising awareness about sexual violence in the community by hosting the  Clothesline Project at the UC on the 3^rd floor today and tomorrow. (both days going from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m) SARC  Outreach Coordinator Meagan Selheim says sexual violence happens more often than people realize and  is inviting  those directly or indirectly affected by sexual violence  to decorate t-shirts with personal messages  to express their emotions. T-shirts created during the Clothesline Project will be displayed during the November  4^th Take Back The Night Rally in Missoula’s Caras park to illustrate that violence happens everywhere and to help survivors realize they are not alone.
