The University of Montana’s Student Assault Resource Center (or SARC) is raising awareness about sexual violence in the community by hosting the  Clothesline Project at the UC on the 3rd floor today and tomorrow. (both days going from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m) SARC  Outreach Coordinator Meagan Selheim says sexual violence happens more often than people realize and  is inviting  those directly or indirectly affected by sexual violence  to decorate t-shirts with personal messages  to express their emotions. (My interview with Selheim is attached below)

T-shirts created during the Clothesline Project will be displayed during the November  4th Take Back The Night Rally in Missoula’s Caras park to illustrate that violence happens everywhere and to help survivors realize they are not alone.
