A former Great Falls chiropractor charged with sexually assaulting an employee has reached a plea deal with the state.

The Great Falls Tribune reports that 48-year-old Reese Riggin signed a plea agreement March 2 that calls for him to plead guilty to sexual intercourse without consent. In exchange, prosecutors are recommending a 20-year prison sentence with 15 years suspended.

Riggin's trial had been scheduled to start Monday, but a change of plea hearing will take place instead.

Riggin is accused of sexually assaulting an employee during a chiropractic adjustment he required her to receive as part of her employment.
