Carmike Theaters Searched for Bombs After Threat
A bomb threat received by the national Carmike theater chain has spawned investigations in Missoula and other cities today.
According to Missoula county Information Officer Jason Johnson, the threat was "most likely from a disgruntled employee" and came from "another state." A search of Missoula's theater turned up nothing.
The bomb threat apparently came because of the theater chain's showing of the star-studded action film Expendables 2.
Because the threat came from a suspected employee nearly all of the 256 Carmike locations are being investigated for public safety.
