At approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday, September 30, a Missoula area woman suspected of driving drunk lost control of her car in a Lolo neighborhood and crashed into a home.

Montana Highway Patrol trooper Wade Palmer said no one was injured in the accident.

"A silver Ford Focus was traveling near Avalon Lane, careened off the road, and impacted the cement foundation of a deck on a house," Palmer said. "The vehicle became high-centered on a sewer access cap."

Palmer said the woman was remorseful and apologetic following the crash. After being checked out at St. Patrick Hospital, the unidentified woman, 26, was taken to the Missoula County Jail on suspicion of drunk driving.
