Over 200,000  households received emergency food through the montana food bank network's agencies last year. Nearly half of these people are children. Donations to the Montana Food Bank Network help the many agencies across montana to dispense food to those in need.This year is the 3RD  annual canstruction competition. Where creativity merges with philanthropy  as community teams, with the help of local engineering and architecture firms,  build giant structres out of dontated canned goods. Development Coordinator for the MFBN Ben Darrow says this is a great community event.

The event will be held at Southgate mall near the Sears Foundation on  April 19th. You can stop by from 1 p.m until seven p.m.  to see the structers being built and to vote for your favorite one. The awards cememony, emceed by mayor john engen, will begin at 8 p.m.
