Candidate Trivia Contest Offers $2,000 Grand Prize [AUDIO]

A first-of-its kind contest with a $2,000 cash prize is being offered for the voters of House District 99 by legislative candidate Gary Marbut. Marbut is offering a $2,000 cash prize in a drawing among registered HD 99 voters who can correctly answer a trivia question based on information available in Marbut’s website.
There is no cost for qualified participants to enter the contest. Although participants must demonstrate that they are registered voters of HD 99, they are not asked to vote for Marbut, or to promise to vote for Marbut. Each week a new trivia question will be posed.
Every HD 99 voter who correctly answers the trivia question in an email entry will go into a drawing for the $2,000 cash prize. Participants may enter once each week from now until the General Election. The promised $2,000 has been deposited with the local accounting firm of Galusha, Higgins and Galusha, and the firm will conduct the drawing on the day before election day, November 6th.
Marbut has researched Montana lottery and gambling laws, which do not apply to this contest because there is no cost for participants to enter the drawing – nothing at risk. The office of the Commissioner of Political Practices has informed Marbut that this contest is an acceptable use of funds raised for his HD 99 campaign.
HD 99 residents may go to ElectMarbut.com each week to see the new trivia question presented. Then they may send an email to Contest@ElectMarbut.com providing sufficient information to qualify the entrant as a registered voter in HD 99, and answering the trivia question presented for the week, to get into the drawing for the $2,000 cash prize on November 5th. A person who enters correctly every week will have the person’s name in the drawing multiple times, once for each correct entry for each week.
