A Stoddard Street home was burglarized sometime between December 24 and January 6 and police are still seeking suspects.

"It was reported on January 6, that while a man had been away from his residence for a period of time in the 900 block of Stoddard Street, he returned and found that his home had been broken into and he was missing a variety of things including a couple of firearms, some electronics equipment, gaming systems, that kind of thing," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh.

The missing firearms are thought to be a 12-guage shotgun and a .22 long rifle. So far, little information about the burglar has turned up.

"We have very few leads and we're hoping that someone in the community may recognize who may have committed this crime," Welsh said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective-Sgt. Jim Klawitter at (406) 552-664.

To leave an anonymous report, callers can contact Five Valley Crimestoppers at 721-4444
