Blaze At Old Stone Container Plant Under Investigation

Frenchtown Fire and Missoula Rural Fire were dispatched last night to a fire at the old Stone Container mill site. Frenchtown Fire and Paramedic Reece Road says the structure was a small storage shed.

Road says because of the shed's location, the fire could have been much worse.

Road says the cause of the fire is under investigation, and no firefighters were injured. Road says firefighters were also busy investigating several small fires caused by last night's lightning storm.
