Bipartisanship at Swearing-In Ceremony

There was an air of bipartisanship during the swearing-in ceramony that kicked-off this months legislative session. Montana House Minority leader Democrat Chuck Hunter focused on unity in his speech from the floor, as did Majority leader Republican Gordan Vance, who spoke highly of his past experience with Hunter.

The theme of bipartisanship ran through nearly every speech from the Governor Bullock all the way down to the lower chamber. That spirit however, will likely be tested as hot topics from the state budget, to redistricting lines make it to center stage later this week.
