BIG SKY, Mont. (AP) — Big Sky Resort says it had more than 340,000 skier visits this winter, which is the most it has ever had.

Last season the ski area fell just short of 340,000 skier visits.

Big Sky general manager Taylor Middleton is crediting good snow and low season pass prices for helping the resort beat last year's record for skier visits, even though this season was two weeks shorter than the 2010-11 season.
