Athletes From Montana Tech, LCSC Honored

Athletes from Montana Tech and Lewis-Clark State College have been named Frontier Conference basketball players of the week.

The men’s honor went to Tech guard Brian Cummings for his performances against the University of Montana and Whitworth College. He averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and two blocks per game.

The Orediggers lost to Montana 64-49, but defeated Whitworth 83-73.

Meanwhile, LCSC’s Kirsi Voshell was named the women’s player of the week for scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in a 68-59 win over Eastern Oregon University.

Voshell was 9 of 13 from the field and scored her 1,000th career point in the game.
