Former Montana Grizzly point guard Anthony Johnson was selected by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Developmental League's Draft on Thursday night.

Johnson was selected in the 2nd round with the 20th overall pick. Most draft experts agreed that Fort Wayne was lucky to pick up Johnson so late after spending their first round pick on former Northern Arizona Lumberjack Cameron Jones.

In a draft featuring big-time players like former Indiana Pacers point guard Jamaal Tinsley, and Kansas Jayhawk star Brady Morningstar, 5 former Big Sky Conference players were selected.

In addition to Johnson and Jones, Fort Wayne also drafted Northern Colorado's Jabril Banks in the 5th round. The Reno Bighorns picked up former Montana State Bobcat Bobby Howard in the 7th round, and Portland State's Juma Kamara was drafted by the Bakersfield Jam in the 8th and final round.
