The American Heart Association has recognized five Montana-based companies as part of its 2011 Fit-Friendly Companies program. Fit-Friendly companies are those who have made their employees’ health and wellness a priority. American Heart Association’s Regional Director Bill Mathews explains how companies can be “heart healthy”

Mathews says Many Americans are still unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 health threat and physical inactivity doubles that risk. This years Montana Fit-Friendly Companies are the City of Missoula,Glacier Bancorp, Inc (Kalispell),Missoula County Wyo-Ben, Inc. (Billings) and TeleTech (Kalispell).
