President Obama paid homage to some of America’s “top cops” on Thursday. Among those being honored were two Missoula County Sheriff’s department officers: Captain Rich Maricelli and Detective T.J. Mcdermott. They were honored for their work in solving a cold case. They may or may not have know it, but there was a cheering section from Missoula in the crowd, lead by a woman who got the President’s attention.
