Air Quality In Missoula

 There are more than 10 active wildfires blazing through Montana right now. Smoke has been billowing through Missoula’s valley from various fires, the closest being the West Riverside Fire – east of Missoula. In the West Riverside, Bonner and Milltown areas, air quality is very unhealthy to hazardous. Air Quality Specialist from the Missoula City-County Health Department, Sarah Coefield says, in Missoula, the air quality will fluctuate.

 Coefield says in unhealthy smoke events, active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease should avoid being outside for long periods of time.
