ABSAROKEE, Mont. (AP) — Officials in Stillwater County are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found outside his home in Absarokee, which is southwest of Columbus.

Undersheriff Chip Kem said in a statement Monday that Forest Dana was found dead Sunday morning in the alley behind his home.

An autopsy concluded the cause of death was blunt-force trauma. Kem says the death is being investigated as a homicide.

The county asked the state's Division of Criminal Investigation to help with the case and they are asking for anybody with information about the case to contact the sheriff's office.
