A Truckload Of Chicken

Tyson Foods has donated a truckload of chicken to the Montana Food Bank Network. The 30,000 pounds of chicken will arrive in Missoula November 22 and distribution will cover the state. MFBN Executive Director Peggy Grimes says Musician Huey Lewis, suggested the donation. (That interview is attached below)
Huey Lewis has has lived part-time in the Bitterroot Valley and has voiced some of the Networks announcements and educational videos.
Tyson foods has donated more than 82 million pounds of food in the last 10 years. Grimes says that 1 in 7 Montanans are struggling with hunger and 1 in 5 children in the state live below the poverty line.
