A Summer Gathering of ‘Pampered’ Cars in Hamilton

The car lot at Mildenberger Motors in Hamilton will be filled with all sorts of shiny cars and trucks Saturday, July 7. The Sapphire Classics Charity Car Show will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who want to enter their auto can register that day from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., according to organizer Wes Young. Entry fee is $20 for a single car. You can add cars for $5 each. The public is invited to come and vote on their favorite vehicle - including antique, hot rods, custom, modified, muscle and even new cars. The awards will be presented at 3 p.m.

Lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for sale from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. And raffle tickets will be sold for prizes to be announced at 2:30 p.m. The car show proceeds will benefit Emma's House and Bitterroot Therapeutic Riding. If you need more information, call 642-6483 in the evening.
