This Legislative Session there have been 2 dozen bills dealing with medical marijuana. Senate Bill 423, carried by Senate Majority Leader Jeff Essman, is aimed at drastically reducing the marijuana industry in the state. The bill has been amended and rewritten several times. One House revision would require growers to provide medical marijuana at no cost. Missoula Chapter Director of Montana Growers Association Tayln Lang says Montanans want responsible legislation not repeal.

Lang, says  if Senate Bill 423 passes, it would turn 28,000 card holders in the state into criminals over night.
