18 DUI Arrests Over The Grizzly Bobcat Weekend

Law enforcement personnel were kept busy over the Grizzly-Bobcat weekend pulling over alleged drunk drivers.
Sergeant Jerry Odlin with the Missoula Police Department says 18 people were arrested from Friday night into Monday morning. Missoula County Sheriff’s deputies and the Montana Highway Patrol participated in the extra patrols.
Many times, law enforcement personnel must call a judge who is on-call for warrants to draw blood from suspected drunk drivers, and each arrest can take several hours to process. Each suspect ends up in the Missoula County jail until they can post bail.
