15 DUI Arrests over the Holiday Weekend

Missoula police arrested 15 drivers suspected of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. I spoke with Sergeant Jerry Odlin with the Missoula Police Department Tuesday morning, and he detailed the procedure that a law enforcement officer has to follow with each and every DUI arrest. That interview is attached.

Sergeant Odlin says he doesn't mind the hours of detail and paperwork, if it keeps just one person from being harmed by a drunk driver. Montana law states there are no exceptions...if you are caught driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will go to jail.
