The Montana Highway Patrol says 11 people have been injured in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 312 northeast of Billings.

Trooper Justin Moran says the crash about 5 a.m. Sunday involved a Pontiac passenger car carrying six people in their early to late teens and a Jeep Grand Cherokee carrying five people ranging in age from 20s to early 50s.

Moran says that the Jeep driver ran a stop sign at the junction of Pioneer Road and U.S. Highway 312.

Moran says there were no fatalities, but there are serious injuries.
