Max Baucus Kicks Off Tourism-Trade Mission With Canada [VIDEO]
Montana Senator Max Baucus kicked off a tourism and trade mission to Canada on Monday with several Montana business partners.
They include North Valley Hospital (Whitefish), Kalispell Regional Medical Center, Kalispell Convention and Visitor Bureau, Buck’s T-4 (Big Sky), and Town Pump/TownHouse Inns (Locations across Montana).
Baucus highlighted the announcement by emphasizing that tourism accounted for almost $300 million dollars in revenue to the Flathead area economy and over $2 billion for the state. Tourism also accounts for over 19,000 state jobs…and, that over 28,000 jobs in Montana depend on trade with Canada.
